The L-arginine HCl is a hydrochloride salt form of L-arginine base form. It has better taste than L-arginine base form. Another difference is the pH value. L-Arginine HCl has pH value 4.7~6.2 (1g/10mL water solution). Yet L-Arginine base form has pH value 11.4 (1g/10mL water solution).
